Max Kersting


In 1983 Max Kersting1 was born in Lippstadt, Germany. During his youth inlineskating, as well as having a compulsive disorder mostly shaped his life. He went on to study design in Düsseldorf, which is what led him to the pityfull existence of an advertising writer in Berlin. In 2011 he returns to find joy in freelance work free from creative accountability. Since that time, he has been mainly known for providing old photos with a refined thought. Camouflaged as a novel, a selection of his pictures was released by Metrolit Publisher's in 20132. A picture based column in Süddeutsche Zeitung followed in 2014/2015.
